There are a number of ballasts you can use to power your ultraviolet lamps with, although we have used the Fulham ballasts for a decade now with excellent results. They offer a good deal of flexibility and maximum power, while actually being the most energy efficient lamps we've worked with. We typically see getting the same amount of UV out of them, while drawing about 30% less power, so there is no sacrifice in performance. The flexibility allows us to offer fewer choices but makes it more simple to choose, as well as possible for you to change ultraviolet lamp sizes without replacing your ballasts in most circumstances.
