For aging materials like wood, curing out lacquer or other finishes, and for curing UV resin that wants 365nm UVA as a primary frequency. This is a blended lamp with mostly UVA, but it has a few percent UVB to reduce bubbles and aid in aging materials. It is very "sun-like" in output, unlike single phosphor lamps. Works for any application you want to replicate the full UV spectrum in a sun like manner. This is the most popular kit for moderate speed finish curing on items like pool cues, fishing lures and other items.



The most proven and guaranteed way to get maximum oxidation without too much heat. This kit easily scales if you need 8, 12 or 16 lamps. Just order more kits This is a COMPLETE kit with all the parts you need, except the housing. Each contains:

1. Four Solacure SG-1 FR40T12 lamps (4 foot long, 1.5" thick)
2. One SunHorse high frequency ballast (~60w per lamp at 100,000hz, equals 80w of a regular ballast)
3. 8 (+1 spare) flush mount lamp holders (shunted)
4. Hardware includes screws to mount lamp holders and ballast, plus shims for ballast.
5. Spare wire to chain lamp ends.
6. Ground wire.
7. Six foot power cable plus strain relief to surface or hole mount.
8. Electrical connectors to hook it all together.
9. One pair of clear, UV glasses, for safety.
Basically, it is everything except the fixture to mount it to, which you custom build for your application.


Like all SG lamps, the SG-1- 24" has a built in reflector. Regular lamps (shown left) emit light in all directions, but almost all reflectors will absorb the UV instead of reflect it. By putting in a special reflective coating INSIDE the lamp (right), we can reflect the UV back to the project, before it even has a chance to pass through the glass. The result is up to 50% more UV output on your project. Add that to the superior output and patented technology inside, and you have twice the functional power when compared to any ordinary UV lamp. Patented, tested and proven.

Rated for over 60w output per lamp. Easy to wire. Diameter of lamp is 50% larger than our Curall 365 for higher output.

This is a beast of a setup that pushes the lamps into VHO mode, and works on virtually every finish. The SG-1 series are renown for their ability to prevent bubbles in the finish by reaching deep into the finish and hardening it fast, before bubbles can form. While most of the output is in the 365-370nm, there is a couple of small peaks in the UVB range that does the heavy lifting of preventing bubbles and giving the resin a hard, glossy finish. Twice as fast as our regular setup, and up to 4x faster than generic UV bulbs.

Now includes a pair of *clear* UV glasses for safety.
