Kit contains ONE Flower Power bulb and one heavy duty USA made fixture, plus UV protective glasses.


Comes with protective eyewear. This kit is simple, just a bulb and fixture, plus eye wear. Perfect for growers that have a very small space, or as an add on for expansion. Both the 4 foot (F40T12) and 2 foot (20T12) use the same phosphor blend and produce the same spectrum.

The fixture is an American made, solid steel fixture that is designed for decades of use. UL listed.

Usage 2 foot kit:
One of these is enough for a 2'x2' to 4'x4' tent. Can be used in open grows, and area covered depends on distance from the canopy. Typical usage is 18"-24" from the canopy, run for up to 1 to 2 hours per day.

Usage 4 foot kit:
One of these is enough for a 4'x3' to 4'x4' tent. Can be used in open grows, and area covered depends on distance from the canopy. Typical usage is 18"-24" from the canopy, run for up to 2 to 3 hours per day. The 4 foot has better coverage, but slightly fewer watts per linear foot (intensity). Both are fairly close.

Output as measured with a hand held UV meter at 312nm (not the strongest peak for these lamps) 2 foot Flower Power F20 20w, measured dead to lamp: 1450mW/cm2 (normal F20 fixture) 10w, measured dead to lamp: 750mW/cm2 4 foot Flower Power F40 40w, measured dead to lamp: 1400cm2 20w, measured dead to lamp: 800mW/cm2 (normal F32 fixture) Please note that UV output varies radically based on temperature, now long the lamp has been on, how old the lamp is. These are useful for comparing to our other lamps, but no so much for comparing to other lamps.
