The Curall series of lamps are narrow band UVA lamps designed specifically for fast curing, in a small package. The are built using the same internal hardware as our Universal Series lamps, which means they can stand up to 60 watts of power. They can be run with as little as 32 (technically, as low as 25w) and the harder you drive them, the more UVA they put out.

The absolute center frequency is 367nm, and the overwhelming majority of output is from 360nm to 375nm, so they will work with any UV curing resin designed for 365nm or nearby frequencies. Compared to our Universal UV lamp, these have about 2.5x the output at 365nm and are best suited for moderately fast to very fast curing, depending on how they are powered.

Nails!

Tested and proven to be TWICE as fast as regular nail drying UV lights. The build in reflector, plus the higher output design gets you in and out of the drying chair FASTER. Works in place of any F32 or F40 bulb, replacing T8 or T12 bulbs with superior performance. Just install with the label facing the hands, and go. Be sure to shield the eyes from the light, just as you would the older style gel drying lamps. We guarantee these are twice as fast.

Custom configurations

Recommended ballast for most applications: Workhorse 7, which will power 4 of these lamps at around 45 watts.

A universal type ultraviolet bulb / lamp with over 10% of the output in the UVB range (mainly around 313nm). Over 85% of the output in the 365-370nm range. Designed for a host of applications, including slow to medium speed UV resin finish curing and horticultural plant stressing (greenhouse vegetables in the nightshade family such as tomatos and peppers, as well as medicinal cannabis in states where this is legal)

Can be used in a standard 32w F32T8 fixture, 40w, any F40T12 fixture, using the Workhorse 7 ballast (4 lamps at ~45 watts each), the Workhorse 8 ballast (4 lamps at ~40 watts, or 6 lamps at ~34 watts each). Will operate with the SunHorse ballast at 66 watts, but this is 10% out of spec and this will reduce lamp life dramatically.

Built-in reflector - Like most of our lamps, the Universal UV FR32 is a RUVA style lamp, meaning it has a built in reflector. This means you don't have to worry about a reflector system for your applications. Keep in mind that reflectors for visible light are easy, but most of them absorb UVA/B, so the regular reflectors for most fixtures are completely useless for UV. It costs a little more to pour them inside the lamp, but it saves you a lot of hassle and work. The image above is a cutaway, showing how it works. All the light will only go out the front of the lamp; light that tries to go away from your target is reflected back towards the target, before it even leaves the lamp. While polished aluminum can be as high as 50% efficient in reflecting UV, this special coating is 80% effective, so you don't waste any UV and get higher overall output at lower wattages, or just higher output (50%+) at the same wattage.

Ballast
You can use any ballast rated for 32-60W as long as it is a rapid start or instant start ballast (no magnetic or choke style ballasts). The best ballast is the WorkHorse 7 ballast in standard mode (lower power) to push 4 lamps, or 4 to 6 lamps with the WorkHorse 8 to run it in standard mode. You can also use them in any F32T8 fixture (32 watts) or F40T12 fixture (40 watts), which are readily available at any hardware store.
